The hub will be popularised and integrated within all BNN Uganda chapter activities implemented. These include
school health outreaches, Safe Hood University Pop-Ups, Ikon Young FilmMakers Fellowship Launch, cultural
Ikons/Influencers Summit, Digital Campaigns and Communication, Brave Girls Soccer Tournament, Networking
events for youth leaders and youth-led organisations, Billi Now Now Youth Summit and regional activities
implemented by like-minded and onboarded partners and entities.
RAHU has over the years gained experience in the development and utilisation of communication hubs through
the Sauti plus its communication arm that created the Sauti media hub as an SRHR communication space for the
collection, documentation, sharing of learning and provision of a collective voice for youth agency. This
experience gives RAHU the unique perspectives of young people and entities needed for a comprehensive BNN
Uganda chapter communication hub. The aim is to establish a comprehensive platform for connecting, learning
and communicating for young people and various entities or stakeholders enabling them to cultivate from the
integrated networks of practice, access to the latest resources, seamless experience and enhance collaboration
and productivity to create agency and address issues affecting youth wellbeing. The communication hub will
contain a sign-up section for young people and entities who wish to be part of the BNN community, a resource
centre to update and ease access to various resources like opportunities, the latest information on the current
situation of youth in the various regions and the discussion section that will trigger conversations and encourage
sharing of information and lessons learnt and act as a knowledge sharing and generation hub to access
information associated with young people and their well being.
